Kidney Clothes and HI-5 Recycle Program:
Aloha and thank you for your interest in donating your gently used clothing and household items, as well as your HI-5’ recyclable aluminum cans and plastic bottles. *We mo longer accept recyclable glass*.  Your generous donations go directly to support the activities and programs of charitable organizations located in the State of Hawai`i that promote the research, education, treatment and cure of kidney disease, organ donation and awareness.

We need your donations, and believe strongly that it should be an easy, convenient process. Whether you prefer our Home pick up or visiting one of our Attended Donation Sites we are confident we can accommodate your donation preferences. Your help not only assists us in reaching our goal of reducing the incidence of Kidney Disease in Hawai’i but it also helps keep Hawai`i green— Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!Mahalo for helping! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Clothing Donation Information:
Tax-deductible material donations to Kidney Friends includes:

• Usable Clothing

  • All Clothing Items (any size or gender)
  • All Clothing Accessories (any size or gender - ex. hats, ties scarves, purses, gloves, etc.)
  • All Shoes (any size or gender)

• Small household goods

  • Bedding or Bath Items (ex. sheets, pillows, blankets, towels, etc. - NO bed frames or futons)
  • Cookware and dining utensils (ex. pots, pans, dishes, silverware, etc.)
  • Toys (Any small toy, game or stuffed animal - MUST be considered portable)
  • Small Electrical Items (ex. vacuum, radios, toasters,, small microwave - ALL electrical items must be in working condition)
  • Books (any paperback or hardback book - NO Textbooks or Encyclopedia sets)

• HI-05 recyclable aluminum cans and plastic bottles only.(5 cent deposit items only)


NKFH can not accept the following items:


     • Large Appliances

     • Heavy Equipment

     • Furniture
     • Carpets

     • Construction Items

     • Paint/Other chemicals

     • Mattresses/Box springs/Waterbeds

     • Cribs, Walkers, Playpens, Swings

     • Car seats

     • Newspapers, Magazines, or Encyclopedias

     • Propane or Gas stoves or tanks
     • Bicycles
     • Tires or Car Parts 
     • Lotions, Perfumes, Soap or Shampoo
     • Food or Drink items

     • Glass recyclables
