WHO WE ARE: The National Kidney Foundation of Hawaii (NKFH) is a tax exempt health organization. Our mission is to prevent kidney and urinary tract diseases, improve the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by these diseases, and to increase the availability of all organs for transplantation in Hawaii. The foundation celebrates fifteen years of service to Hawaii residents and has its own staff and volunteer Board of Directors.

WHAT WE ARE DOING: NKFH now accepts community donations of useable clothing and small household goods, these bulk items are sold to Savers, a thrift department store in Kalihi and Waipahu. We also collect HI-05 recyclable beverage containers that are processed through Reynolds Hawaii.

WHY: These material donations provide revenue for programs of NKFH.
